More energy with peach-green tea smoothie
To keep that morning freshness going, blogger Kristy from Keepin' It Kind adds matcha powder to this summery mix. She also adds plenty of leafy greens and fruit, as well as hemp seeds and buckwheat groats (also called buckwheat kernels), which provide a satisfying combination of plenty of protein and fiber.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 to 3 handfuls of leafy greens
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mango
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peach slices
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon buckwheat groats
- 1 tablespoon maca powder
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Instead of mango, you could use 1 1/2 bananas (preferably frozen).
